NetGravity Adds Howard W. Smith to Board

NetGravity Inc. named Howard W.
Smith,
chief executive of Standard & Poor’s Compustat, to its board of directors.

Compustat is a business unit of The McGraw-Hill Companies that develops
databases, analytics, applications software and enterprise information
systems for the investment management and financial services marketplace.

Prior to joining Standard & Poor’s in 1995, Smith worked for Dun & Bradstreet
for 27 years. During that time, he held a number of domestic and
international senior executive positions in strategic planning, marketing,
product development and general management.

Smith replaces John Kohler, a board member since 1995 and a seed investor in
NetGravity. Kohler is returning to the venture capital business.

John Lloyd also joined NetGravity as vice president of data services. Lloyd
was most recently a senior executive in the global marketing unit of Dun &
Bradstreet.

NetGravity markets online advertising and direct marketing solutions.
