Icon CMT Corp. announced that it is discontinuing publication of
its electronic magazines “Word” and “Charged.”

“While our online publications played an important role in establishing
Icon CMT as a leading producer and distributor of online information and
applications, the publishing business is no longer part of our core
strategy,” said Scott Baxter, president and CEO.

Icon CMT, which is a tier-one Internet service provider, says it wants to
focus on its core business, which is offering Internet, intranet, and
extranet solutions. The company says it will continue to make existing and
archived magazine content available and will pursue prospects for selling
the two properties.
