BuscaPé, a site that searches and compares goods prices from e-commerce sites, was launched this week from Brazil.

The software used by BuscaPé was developed by three Brazilian partners in the last six months.

There are 35 Brazilian e-commerce companies in BuscaPé’s catalog. Goods and services may be searched in six categories, such as supermarket, computer goods and drugstore. Prices are updated every three days.

“We are including new e-commerce sites for free, and we will extend the search categories in the next few months,” said Romero Rodrigues, co-founder of the company.

Access to all of the BuscaPé site is free. The Internet user chooses the desired product, searches and receives a page with the goods description and its price as listed in various Brazilian e-commerce sites.
