[Toronto, CANADA] Mazda Canada has retained
OnX.com to design, develop and maintain Mazda’s new e-commerce initiative and Web site.

“Our new site will cover everything from consumer price quotes and purchases to dealer training and education. OnX.com is designing an e-business site that will put us and keep us as a leader in automotive e-business initiatives,” said Ted Bartlett, director, Finance and Administration of Mazda Canada.

Mazda Canada’s site will incorporate a new consumer site and business-to-business communications system.

“Once the new system is up and running we’ll work with the OnX team to keep it at the cutting edge of e-commerce innovations and technology. The next step is wireless technology and we’ll be ready,” said Bartlett.

Mazda is the third best selling import automobile brand in Canada with over 150 dealerships nationwide. Mazda Canada is a subsidiary of Mazda Motor Corporation of Hiroshima, Japan. Its head office is in Scarborough, Ontario. In addition, Mazda Canada has regional offices in Montreal, Quebec; Vancouver, British Columbia; and Scarborough, Ontario.

OnX Inc. offers systems innovations for companies who need e-commerce business solutions. It has offices in eight cities from coast to coast and is headquartered in Thornhill, Ontario.
