[Montreal, CANADA] – BCE Emergis Inc. has signed a three-year contract with PsiGate, a provider of interactive gateway services for real-time payment collection and financial transaction processing.

BCE Emergis will provide a bank-neutral, secure back-end payment processing service, allowing PSiGate to sell their solution to all merchants, regardless of the bank they use.

Payment Services Interactive Gateway Inc. (PSiGate) provides merchants with the tools to help process electronic transactions. With the PSiGate payment module, customer receive almost instant notification that a transaction has been processed because it communicates with Canadian card processors in real time. Their merchant solution uses SSL encryption and allows transactions to be processed via the Internet securely.

PSiGate is a Mississauga, Ontario-based company that specializes in the integration and deployment of Internet-based, e-commerce payment services solutions that enable the automated, secure exchange and transmission of electronic data for fulfilling orders and payments and obtaining credit card or cyber wallet payment authorizations.

PSiGate will target small-to-medium sized businesses that wish to deploy an Internet-based storefront. It communicates directly with BCE Emergis who facilitates the communication and settlement with major Canadian and U.S. credit card processors.

BCE Emergis delivers network-centric e-commerce services to improve customer processes through B2B exchanges.
