As the Dow surpasses the 11,000 mark and Internet stocks continue their hot streak, Quote.com and InfoSpace.com announced a partnership Tuesday to enhance the finance channel within InfoSpace.com’s network.

Scheduled to re-launch this summer, InfoSpace.com Finance will offer investment news and information, IPO ratings, research resources and portfolio management services to members of InfoSpace.com’s distribution network. Under terms of the agreement, Quote.com has rights to place all advertising and sponsorship sales on the finance channel. Spending was not disclosed.

Currently, InfoSpace.com’s finance channel provides links to third party resources as well as limited investment information. Tuesday’s partnership is designed to augment the firm’s financial services, said Naveen Jain, InfoSpace.com’s chairman and chief executive officer.

“We believe that Quote.com is unrivaled in their financial and technological
expertise, as well as their ability to integrate financial content,” he said.

“Agreements like this will strengthen our ability to deliver more compelling content solutions to some of the
Internet’s most popular sites and attract new affiliates into our network.”

InfoSpace.com is planning further enhancements as well, including the launch of ActiveShopper, a private label e-commerce shopping solution later this month. It also recently debuted a flower and gift shop within the InfoSpace.com network in March.
