RealPlayer Updated for Windows, Mac and Unix

RealNetworks, Inc. Monday announced the
availability of RealPlayer 7 Update 1 for Windows, the gold release of
RealPlayer 7 for Macintosh, and the beta release of RealPlayer 7 for Unix.

The products are immediately available for free download from the company’s Web site or via the AutoUpdate feature in all versions of RealPlayer G2 or RealPlayer 7.

RealPlayer 7 Update 1 for Windows offers enhanced performance and improved
access to Real.com Take5, a daily programming service that provides consumers
with access to Internet audio and video content, the firm said. RealPlayer 7 for Windows
and Macintosh also includes enhancements in the Real.com Message Service,
which enables users to be notified in RealPlayer 7 when entertainment or
breaking news content is available.
