Retailers, Canada Post Let Customers Choose Delivery Times

[Toronto, CANADA]- Indigo.ca is letting its Toronto and Montreal-area customers
choose the specific day and time they receive their delivery under to a new pilot project offered through Canada Post.

In addition to daytime delivery times, the new scheduled delivery service also lets indigo.ca customers receive shipments in
the evenings and on weekends at no extra cost.

“With these new enhanced delivery options our online shoppers will receive their books, gifts, flowers or garden products
whenever and wherever they want,” said Heather Reisman, Indigo president and chief executive officer.

When indigo.ca customers complete their purchases the delivery menu will display expanded options for Toronto and Montreal
postal code addresses. The new delivery options include a Saturday morning delivery period as well as deliveries Monday and
Wednesday evenings between 5:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.

The new scheduled delivery service by Canada Post is being piloted in the Toronto and Montreal areas over the next two
months.

“We believe this project will be embraced by customers who want to know
specifically when their delivery will arrive, and hope that it can be expanded nationwide as soon as possible,” said Ms
Reisman.

Indigo operates 14 superstores across Canada and owns Cruickshank’s, Canada’s garden mail order company.

BabyUniverse.ca is also participating in the first phase of Canada Post’s pilot.
Customers ordering items from these retailers through the eParcel Shipping Module for delivery in the initial metropolitan
areas will choose how and when their parcels are delivered. Canada Post expects to introduce this service in 21 major urban
centers across the country this fall.
