RM Group, which operates the
aRMadillo business
information service, is offering direct access to the
Companies House database from its Web site.

There are
no set-up fees or monthly subscription for the
pay-as-you-go service.

“Using their aRMadillo pass codes on existing intranet
and Internet access routes, users can now access the
Companies House data on RM’s usual low-cost pay-as-you-go
basis, with the charges being added to their monthly bill,”
said Manny Cohen, managing director of RM Online.

“The data is available at standard Companies House prices
with no surcharge,” he added.

Companies House provides official data on all UK businesses,
including directors’ names and addresses, turnover, profit,
names of shareholders, registered addresses, etc.

The addition of Companies House data brings another dimension
to the aRMadillo service, which now includes a mortgages and
charges register, names of auditors and one year’s accounts extracts,
liquidator/receiver details, High Court writ information,
County Court judgement searches on the company and its individual
officers, and images of company documents such as accounts and
annual returns.

Other services offered by RM include a trade mark search
facility covering UK and European Union trademarks, and
details about US companies and directors. All the information
can be accessed via aRMadillo.

The RM Group is based in London.
