Internet intelligence solution provider
Sagent Technology,
of Mountain View, Calif., has acquired its
distribution partner in the UK for approximately $2.3 million in cash
and stock.
At the same time, Sagent announced Thursday that
it has established distribution partners in
Benelux and Spain.
Sagent Technology Benelux B.V.i.o will distribute
the company’s products in Belgium, The Netherlands
and Luxembourg. Sagent Technology Iberica S.A. will
do the same in Spain.
“As the number of Internet users continues to grow,
Sagent believes that the demand for Web-based information
access, analysis and delivery will increase significantly,”
said Ken Gardner, Sagent’s president and CEO.
“The international arena represents a tremendous growth
opportunity for the company and we will continue to
identify new partners to help us achieve our growth
objectives.”
