Seattle’s Stream Team

RocketVox, a provider of special interest video content and rich media application services, and NeoInformaticsT, a provider of interactive Web content and technology, announced today an exclusive agreement to deliver a new streaming media experience to Websites and portals across the Web.

Under the terms of the agreement, the two Seattle companies will create and distribute customized video applications, combining RocketVox’s library of gardening, home improvement and travel video with NeoInformatics’ vast databases of contextually relevant, subject specific content.

RocketVox licenses special interest video and develops customized video applications. These applications combine special interest video with complementary subject specific content and targeted e-commerce and advertising.

NeoInformatics develops databases, called NeoBasesT, that aggregate information from experts and enthusiasts in a variety of subject fields. Because NeoBasesT are interactive, their content is constantly updated.

Together, the two companies will create and distribute streaming video applications and databases to destination sites across the Web.

According to Mike Richan, founder, president and CEO of NeoInformatics, these applications will help customers generate higher incremental revenue – boosting traffic and site stickiness, increasing browser-to-buyer conversion rates and providing a vehicle for cross-sales opportunities.

“Now, Websites and portals can offer a compelling streaming media experience that engages their users and creates tremendous site loyalty,” said Richan.
