Simware and Logica to Deliver Enterprise-to-Extranet Software

Simware Inc. inked
a joint marketing and sales agreement with Logica, an international consulting,
systems integration, and software company.

The partners will deliver Salvo, an Enterprise-to-Extranet solution, to
energy and utilities companies worldwide, and enable all divisions of Logica
to resell Salvo to their customers in the Energy & Utilities, Financial
Services, Telecommunications, and Automotive industries.

Logica’s Energy and Utilities business grew by more than 50 percent in
the last year. Their customers include Virginia Power, Atlantic Energy,
Texas Utilities, and Illinois Power.

Salvo is Simware’s complete Enterprise-to-Extranet software for delivering
corporate applications to company stakeholders. Optimized for
business-to-business applications, Salvo said it is a true three-tier solution meant
to provide security, control and predictability to deploying extranet
applications based on enterprise data systems.

The Salvo Server is a robust and scalable middleware product that gathers
data from virtually any data store, performs business logic and processing
to create new information, and then makes it available to any desktop using
browsers or existing thick-client applications.

Simware makes products for creating corporate extranets that deliver
enterprise-based business applications to company stakeholders through the
Internet. Headquartered in Ottawa, Canada, the company is publicly traded
with offices in the United States, the United Kingdom and
Europe.
