SPSS Ships DeltaGraph 4.5 For Macintosh

SPSS is shipping DeltaGraph 4.5 for Macintosh, an all-purpose charting package that boasts 11 new chart types, over 80 types in all, and
over 200 chart styles for users in business, science, engineering, and
education.

DeltaGraph charts can be published in almost any format, not only on the
Web/intranet, but also in paper reports or electronic presentations. A Chart
Advisor helps users to select a chart type, while other tools enable users to
color and manipulate every element.

DeltaGraph now comes with support for programs such as Excel
98, Word, PageMaker, Quark XPress and PhotoShop, enabling users to
apply charting facilities to nearly any application’s data.

“The improvements to this version can be attributed to the customer feedback that we have received
since acquiring this product in 1997,” said Chris Gregory, product manager for DeltaGraph. “Users from all industries can bring the
power of professional charting to their desktop with DeltaGraph’s wide
selection of chart types and styles. And the high level of customization enables
users to create graphs that clearly communicate their message.”

Other new features in DeltaGraph are: the ability to create press-ready color
using the Pantone Matching System; better graphic file support for MacPaint,
QuickDraw GX, Silicon Graphics, GIF, Windows Bitmap, PNG and Targa;
automation of routine tasks by using AppleScript; and the ability to export
files to QuickTime Image File, Adobe PhotoShop, JPEG and Windows
Bitmap.

The suggested price for DeltaGraph in North America is US$299.
