SRA Lands $30M Task Order


The Air Mobility Command (AMC) of the Dept. of Defense has awarded a $30 million contract to SRA International to provide independent software testing and other technical services to support command and control programs for the AMC.


AMC uses command and control systems to provide global planning, scheduling, execution management, and monitoring of AMC forces during peacetime and wartime operations.


Under the contract, SRA will provide independent verification and validation software testing services for AMC’s newest command and control system, known as the Modernized Global Decision Support System. It is used to manage airlift and tanker status and movement information around the world.


SRA system testing and engineering services will also support command and control systems for aircraft flight and mobility mission planning. The SRA team includes Computer Sciences Corp.


The Fairfax, Va.-based SRA specializes in information technology services and solutions to clients in national security, civil government, and health care and public health. SRA services include strategic consulting; systems design, development, and integration; and outsourcing and operations management.


SRA also delivers business solutions for text and data mining, contingency and disaster response planning, information assurance, environmental strategies and technology, enterprise architecture, network operations and management, and enterprise systems management.
