Spanish and Portuguese oriented StarMedia Network and beauty products
company L’Oréal launched Cadamujer.com, as an Internet
destination and community site for Latina women around the world.
Cadamujer.com launched Wednesday in Mexico, to be followed by market rollouts
in Argentina and Brazil in the months to come.
Cadamujer means “every woman” in English. L’Orial will get to pitch its
products to a potential market of more than 250 million Latin American women.
The new site provides Latina women with an array of relevant information,
community services and commerce solutions to enhance their professional and
personal lives, the companies said. In addition to pan-regional content,
Cadamujer.com will offer culture-tailored destinations for each region served.
Users will also have direct online access to the local sites of the L’Oréal
Group brands, L’Oréal Paris, Lancôme, Maybelline, and Biotherm, where women
are informed of new product arrivals and can obtain professional advice on
hair care, skin care and color cosmetics.
L’Oréal said it is making a significant investment in Internet activities
with 19 sites are already operating around the world, including two
e-commerce sites, ccb-paris.com and Lancome.
