SunCommerce
Corp.
is promoting the launch of their SecureMerchant 2.0 service by
offering a free online
store (for 30-days) to every small business in North America.

According to SunCommerce, SecureMerchant 2.0 is designed to allow anyone
with an Internet
connection and a browser to create a store in five easy clicks, and begin
selling immediately. Designed for the business person, the company said
Secure Merchant 2.0
is very intuitive and allows users to manage their store directly from their
desktop. There is no software to install and learn.

“Out of our experience in building and operating a number of e-commerce
systems for large clients such as MegaDepot.com, Ryerson Bookstore, and
Canada 3000, we recognized a need for a complete and affordable e-commerce
solution, specifically designed for small and medium size businesses,” said
Rob Ayer, Vice President of SunCommerce.

According to a recent Ernst & Young study, e-commerce is booming. Over 32%
of people surveyed have bought something online, and over 64% forecast that
they will purchase something online by the year 2000.

In a testimonial, Dr. J Antony Gagnon, proprietor of The Wellness Shoppe
commented: “No fuss, no need to be a programming guru. Secure Merchant 2.0
is the answer to putting any store online, quickly and easily.”

SunCommerce Corp., specializing in electronic commerce software and
full service order management systems, has offices in Vancouver, Toronto,
and Seattle.
