[Ottawa, CANADA] Sybridge
Technologies‘ Matriq, is named a Finalist in the e-commerce
category of the Best of Show Awards competition at
NetWorld+Interop 2000 Atlanta by CMP
Media’s InternetWeek and
Network Computing.
Sybridge Technologies is a carrier-grade bridging infrastructure
solution provider for B2B e-commerce.
The editors of the sponsoring publications review submissions and
then scour the NetWorld+Interop show floor evaluating hundreds of new
products and select finalists in 11 categories.
The Best of Show Awards program is designed to help IT and network
managers evaluate the new product offerings debuted at
NetWorld+Interop and assist in their quest of Internet-enabled
solutions.
The Matriq is the first carrier-grade bridging infrastructure that
enables dissimilar IT systems to exchange information over the
Internet, corporate Intranets and legacy communication systems.
Sybridge announced the first field trial of the Matriq with a North
American carrier at NetWorld+Interop 2000.
“All of the finalists were chosen based on a rigorous evaluation
process,” said Wayne Rash, Managing Editor/Technology for
InternetWeek and head of the joint editorial judging team with
Network Computing for the Best of Show Awards.
“We picked Sybridge Technologies and Matriq because we believe it’s
one of the most innovative solutions in the e-commerce category,”
said Rob Kohlhepp, Lab Director for Network Computing.
