[Calgary, CANADA] – Cell-Loc
Inc.’s TimesThree and SUMmedia.com Inc., through its
eCoupon portal, www.savingumoney.com, unveiled
eCouponing at TimesThree’s wireless location network launch.
“Our partnership with SUMmedia.com is right on target with our business
plan as we move to deploy our Cellocate Network and enable location
sensitivity for the wireless world,” said Lew Turnquist, executive vice
president and chief operating officer, Cell-Loc Inc.
TimesThree’s L411 will offer eCoupons to wireless consumers. By dialing
an L411 code on a mobile phone, the caller will gain access to a
citywide directory and receive a list of three local businesses
matching specific criteria. In addition to the list, companies such as
savingumoney.com will offer coupons from participating vendors.
“Consumers are able to receive coupons and save on-the-go at nearby
businesses through technology that can pinpoint a location and deliver
the most relevant information to the consumer,” according to Evan
Baergen, vice president, emerging technology, SUMmedia.com Inc.
Based in Dallas and Calgary, TimesThree, wholly owned by Cell-Loc Inc.,
will provide location sensitivity to e-commerce and m-commerce wireless
Internet companies as well as a full suite of location services
including L411, fleet tracking, asset tracking, child/senior find and
pet tracking.
Cell-Loc Inc. has developed Cellocate, a suite of wireless location
products that enables wireless location-based services.
savingumoney.com cumulatively hosts more than 19,000 coupons worldwide
for redemption in major centers across Canada, the U.S., Hong Kong and
