Canada’s ClickThrough Interactive signed an exclusive agreement to represent the toronto.com for Web advertising sales and sponsorships.

Toronto.com, the home page launched this week by Torstar Electronic
Publishing, is the most comprehensive source of online information for the
entire Toronto area.

The site features properties such as the Toronto Star, Toronto Star CitySearch, torstar.com,
and Metroland community newspapers, as well as eye Weekly, local
classifieds, and TV listings. Torstar’s Web sites are among the busiest in
Canada, generating nearly 10 million page accesses per month.

“Torstar management had many choices when it came to which group would
exclusively represent their home page. This is a real vote of confidence in
ClickThrough’s ability. The alliance makes it easy for advertisers to use
the Web to reach a huge Toronto audience” said Jay Aber, President of
ClickThrough Interactive.

Advertising on toronto.com is available immediately, either exclusively by the month or week, or in general rotation by ad impression.
