e-solutions Software Completes $10 Million in Venture Capital Financing from Blue Water Capital

ATLANTA–e-solutions Software Inc. the leader in the field of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and e-commerce technology announced the completion of a $10 million equity financing round led by McLean, Virginia-based Blue Water Capital, a private investment group, and manager of the Blue Water Venture Fund II, L.L.C. e-solutions will use the funding to expand their sales and marketing efforts, and to complete additional software development for vertical industries.

Edmunds.com Raises An Initial Round of $10 Million in Financing

LOS ANGELES–Edmunds.com, a third party automotive resource, announced it has secured an initial round of $10 million in financing from strategic and financial investors.

Primary investors in this round include General Electric Pension Trust and Rare Ventures, the venture capital unit of Rare Medium Group, Inc. (Nasdaq:RRRR). The funding will be used to further expand Edmunds.com’s infrastructure and marketing efforts.

iBEAM Broadcasting Raises $42 Million Financing to Build Streaming Media Network

SUNNYVALE, Calif.–iBEAM Broadcasting Corporation announced a third round of financing, totaling $42 million. This latest level of funding will help drive the expansion of the iBEAM sales force and network toward a goal of serving greater than 1 million simultaneous Internet users by 2001. The iBEAM Network currently has capacity to serve more than 300,000 simultaneous users.

The new round of investment comes from the existing investors, as well as several new strategic investors. The new strategic investors include Covad Communications (Nasdaq:COVD) and Microsoft. Intel Corporation, an investor in the previous round of financing, has taken a larger position in iBEAM. iBEAM’s existing investors including Accel Partners, CrossPoint Venture Partners, Liberty Digital, Media Technology Ventures and Stanford University.

Infection Control Advisory Network Completes $5.5 Million Financing

MINNEAPOLIS — Infection Control Advisory Network Inc., a new Internet-based health information company lead by Dr. Michael Osterholm, announced the completion of a Series A Convertible Preferred stock offering with proceeds of $5.5 million. The financing, the largest undertaken by the Company thus far provides the capital necessary to develop the icanPrevent Internet product, planned to be launched early next year.

The investors in this round of financing include Delphi Ventures of Palo Alto, Calif.; Salix Ventures of Nashville, Tenn.; Twin Cities based Affinity Capital Management and a small group of qualified individual investors.

LOS ANGELES–Frank Creer, managing director of Zone Ventures, a venture capital firm specializing in Internet start-up companies, announced that it has funded GoShip.com.

GoShip.com provides e-commerce sites the ability to give their customers choice and value by providing shipping options. The GoShip.com rating service gives the consumers choice of carrier, delivery time and price based on zip code to zip code shipping.

Zone Ventures is the Los Angeles affiliate of the Silicon Valley venture capital firm Draper Fisher Jurvetson.

Collabria Signs Strategic Relationship Agreement With PrimeSource
