Halifax-based Web development company W3 Internet Services has a new VAR partnership with Idetix, Inc. for technical support of its Idetix’s Revize client/server content management system.

Beat Raemy of W3 Internet Services said that by using Idetix Revize within sites and Intranet site designs, they can provide custom-tailored content management systems for clients, while letting clients distribute Web content duties to various personnel in their office.

Revize lets developers build content-editing capabilities into sites by replacing custom-built scripting and thus saving time. With the service, users can update site information in a structured and distributed manner with appropriate levels of security and control.

Using a Java-enabled browser, contributors can securely maintain site information, while a web team still manages site layout and design.

According to George Cameron, president of Idetix Inc., Revize is platform independent, and interoperable with other Web development technologies, making it useful for W3 Internet Services’ clients.
