Webmotion Inc. has
opened its commercial headquarters in the nation’s capital with an eye to
accommodating the company’s recent and expected growth.

Webmotion offers complete e-business solutions, including marketing
strategies, Web site creation and deployment, hosting, and systems
administration.

With sales of over $1.5 million this year (more than 200 percent over the previous
year) and a client portfolio that includes three Fortune 500 companies, the
headquarters will be home to a core team focused on continued expansion into
the U.S. and international markets.

“We believe this office will provide a strong foothold for supporting our
existing clients as well as for expanding our international operations,” said Laurent Liscia, senior project manager and co-founder.

“As a Canadian firm, we have our reputation for quality and customer service
plus an advantageous exchange differential as we continue to court a
prestigious clientele.”

Webmotion relies substantially on its proprietary software, WebDeployer.
Based on Open Source software and the Linux platform, it has been the tool
of choice for two of the largest U.S. Banks as well as a major European
automotive company.

Owing to its roots in the Open Source movement, the WebDeployer software
offers a cost-effective mix of scalability, robustness and versatility.
