Western Australia to Host World E-Commerce Conference

The Western Australian capital city of Perth is to
host the World E-Com conference for corporations and government seeking to
exploit opportunities emerging from the electronic economy.

World E-Com 1999, scheduled to take place from November 8 to 10, will
include speakers from the WTO, the OECD, the UN Commission for
International Trade Law, and other global bodies that influence e-commerce
strategies.

Among the global e-commerce management issues to be explored at the
conference are security and micro-funds transfers, and speakers will also
review major e-commerce projects.
