WindwardStar Signs Licensing Agreements

Seattle.internet.com has learned that Redmond-based WindwardStar, a provider of industry specific online business solutions, has signed licensing agreements with Payroll Online and MobileUSA.com.

The company also recently announced that it would be working with Microsoft on creating advanced business web services such as Acoda, an integrated application hosting service for business management and operation via the Microsoft .Net framework.

In related news, the company has recently filled to significant positions. Ron Critchfield joined the company from Microsoft Money Central to be WindwardStar’s Director of Development. He will be leading the company’s development strategy including its Microsoft .NET framework Strategy.

Nick Longo has joined WindwardStar as Director of Business Development. Longo will be leading the company’s effort in developing mobile wireless channel partners.

In other news, WindwardStar President & CEO Katherine Gaudette has told seattle.internet.com that her company is currently working with Waechter-Lufkin to raise its next round of financing. WindwardStar raised $1 million in a round of angel financing back in July.
