Yahoo! Expands Small Business Services

Wednesday rolled out a series of new services aimed at small
businesses and retailers who want to take their business online.

The new services will be combined with Yahoo!’s earlier small business
initiatives for businesses and merchants desiring an e-tail presence on the Net. Services include Yahoo! Site, Yahoo! Store, Yahoo! Connected Office,
Yahoo! Business Express and Yahoo!
Small Business

Features and prices vary according to package. Fees range from $29.95 per
month to $300 per month based on complexity of services offered. Standard
features include Web site publishing capabilities and sale data tracking
and reporting tools.

“Yahoo! recognizes the need for a set of services to address the demands of
growing numbers of small businesses and merchants that want to use the Internet as a channel to reach new customers,” said Tim Brady, vice president of production at Yahoo!

“Yahoo!’s new small business services provide a complete solution to help this expanding sector maximize their opportunities on the Web.”
