Jun 1, 1998

Yahoo! Inc. and Ticketmaster Multimedia Holdings Inc. signed a cross-marketing agreement today under which TicketMaster will become a Yahoo! merchant and content partner.

Financial arrangements of the deal were not disclosed.

The unit of parent company Ticketmaster Group Inc. said it will provide Yahoo! users with information concerning sports, music, theater, museum and family offerings. The events will be featured in various Yahoo! sections such as Yahoo! Sports and Yahoo!’s Get Local properties.

Ticketmaster will also offer seating charts, special seating arrangements,
travel directions, and parking information. Yahoo! users will be able to use a Ticketmaster button to purchase tickets for events from Ticketmaster Online.

In addition, Yahoo! said that Ticketmaster will market Yahoo! to its
customer base through its Ticketmaster Online site. The company will also send out direct mail inserts to its national customer base.

“Ticketmaster is pleased to be in business with the Internet’s most
popular site,” said Alan Citron, president and chief operating officer of
Ticketmaster Multimedia. “Our relationship with Yahoo! will expose millions
of potential new customers to Ticketmaster Online, which is key to our
strategy of aggressively growing our electronic commerce business.”
