LONDON — Having experienced several setbacks over the past few months, Yellow Dog Linux 2.0 is to be unveiled by Kai Staats, CEO of Terra Soft, tomorrow. Yellow Dog is the Linux distribution for Power PCs, and is based on Red Hat version 7.

Staats commented, “The timing could not be better. As this week completes a successful and rewarding reseller road tour, I will have in my hands the latest YDL 2.0 beta ISO — the near completion of more than a year of development effort by our dedicated (and very tired) staff.”
