Ad network 24/7 Media Inc. in New
York City named Susan Storms as vice president of Northeastern regional
sales and Angela Beristain as director of business development.
Storms, based in New York, will manage the northeastern sales team. She has
managed sales divisions for Time-Warner and most recently served as vice
president of interactive advertising sales for Yoyodyne.
Beristain in San Francisco will be responsible for recruiting network Web
site affiliates west of the Mississippi. She worked at AOL/Digital Cities San
Francisco where, as a senior account executive, she serviced major Bay Area
advertising accounts.
Also, Gayle Meyers, formerly of AOL/Digital Cities San Francisco, joins 24/7
as an account executive. Gisela Bolz, also formerly of AOL/Digital Cities in
San Francisco, joins 24/7 as a senior account executive. Tom Burke, formerly
vice president, sales at Global Marketing Resources, a corporate media barter
company, joins 24/7 as an account executive in New York.
Separately, 24/7 said it has established a new in-house research capability
and named Risa Weledniger as director of research.
Weledniger will be responsible for establishing focused in-house research
capabilities at 24/7 Media and for forging relationships with major Internet
media research companies. In addition, she will develop accurate reach
projections for individual client Web sites, content categories and the
Network; assist with buy and post-buy analysis; consolidate and distribute
research information to Web site clients; and provide overall support to the
company’s sales efforts.
Weledniger comes to 24/7 from CBS News where she maintained the CBS affiliate
Web site in addition to working on promotions for CBS News shows. Before that
she was a research analyst for Eastman Radio.
