1-800-Flowers said it has
narrowed a review on its anticipated $12 million to $15 million account to
three agencies from nine.
James G. Glicker, vice president for sales and marketing at 1-800-Flowers in
Westbury, NY, told The New York
Times that the finalists are: Cliff Freeman & Partners in New
York, part of Saatchi & Saatchi PLC; Fallon McElligott in Minneapolis and
Kirshenbaum Bond & Partners in New York. A decision is expected Feb. 1, he
said.
The 1-800-Flowers account had been handled since 1993 by McCann-Erickson New
York, which declined to take part in the review that began last month.
