AdOutlet.com launched Monday offering a
real- time, online marketplace for the purchase and sale of discounted,
remnant Web ad space.

AdOutlet.com said it gives media buyers the opportunity to purchase ad space
inventory at discounts of up to 80 percent off of rate card. Starting with Internet
ad space for the June 14 launch, the company said it will offer print and
broadcast inventory in the coming months.

Publishers stipulate the price of offered inventory, thereby minimizing
pricing conflicts inherent in auction-based services, the company said, and
media buyers can buy close to insertion deadlines, allowing for opportunistic
buys.

AdOutlet.com Chairman and CEO Alan Masarek said the site has nearly 3,000
qualified media buyers registered, and distribution partnerships with
publishers representing more than 60 million impressions of inventory.

“Our goal in providing this electronic marketplace for advertising buyers and
sellers is to use technology to improve the fundamentally-inefficient nature
of media transactions,” Masarek said.
