Ann Arbor, MI-based agency Beyond
Interactive
has teamed up with
Haverford, PA-based RealTime Media and Baltimore’s Strat Marketing to offer an online
promotion, called “Scratch it Rich,” offering a top prize of $250,000.

FamilyPoint.com, a client of Beyond
Interactive, began the promotion on its site. FamilyPoint.com is a free site
where families can create a virtual space for staying in touch with each
other. Beyond Interactive said it is working with other clients to launch the
game on their sites.

In general, game tickets appear as part of a client’s site after visitors
complete a desired action, such as signing up for a newsletter, completing a
membership form or purchasing a product. They then receive a ticket and
“scratch” off the outer layer of the ticket with their mouse pointer. When
users click-through on a banner to reach the site, there is also a button that
serves as an internal promotion to draw further attention.

“Scratch it Rich is a fun and
interactive way to get people to complete a desired action on your site and
then reward them for their efforts,” said Jonn Behrman, CEO of Beyond
Interactive.

“RealTIME Media’s patent-pending online ‘Scratch and Win’ technology provides
all the excitement and immediacy that online consumers desire,” said Charles
Ruderman, vice president for RealTIME Media. “Beyond Interactive’s clients
have the opportunity to utilize an interactive promotion supported by our
technology that rewards players immediately.”
