Internet service provider Prodigy
Communications Corp.
on Tuesday tapped marketing firm BLACK Ink. to
help it attract and keep customers via direct and e-mail marketing.

The campaign will highlight Prodigy’s (PRGY) products and technology, positioning them as easy
to use. Prospective customers will be targeted through an integrated direct
mail and e-mail promotion that asks, “Are you a prodigy?”

BLACK Ink. was selected from several agencies vying for the account.

“We are ecstatic to be working with Prodigy to leverage their strong
national brand awareness through direct mail and online programs,” said
Richard Dale, president of BLACK Ink. Marketing.

“The bar is so high in this competitive arena. BLACK Ink. will utilize both
the arts and sciences to breakthrough the clutter by communicating how
Prodigy unlocks the potential of the Internet.”

Prodigy targets its service to three Internet markets: consumers, small
business owners and the US Hispanic population.
