Buena Vista Internet Group Names SVP for Ad Sales

Scott Schiller has been promoted to senior vice president, advertising sales,
at Buena Vista Internet Group (BVIG).


Schiller, who previously served as vice president of advertising and
sponsorship sales for Disney Online, a unit of BVIG, will now have the
expanded responsibility of managing advertising and sponsorship sales efforts,
including e-commerce sponsorship, for Disney.com and
ABC.com, including
affiliated sites such as Oprah.com and Oscar.com.


He will also be responsible for management oversight of advertising sales for
ABCNews.com, which is a joint venture with Infoseek Corp.


Schiller will work closely with Infoseek to ensure that all properties are
sold as a network to advertisers, thus maximizing collective advertising
dollars and partnerships.


Schiller came to Disney Online from Sony Online Ventures, where he served as
vice president of advertising and partnership marketing. Prior to that, he was
vice president of advertising sales for Prodigy.
