Career Center in Deals with AT&T WorldNet, WorldPages

Recruitment site The Online Career Center (OCC), said it entered strategic alliances with AT&T WorldNet Service and WorldPages.


Financial terms of the deals were not disclosed.


OCC, which provides online career information in more than 200 industry
categories, will be a provider of job and career-related information linked
directly from the AT&T WorldNet Service Careers
Page
. AT&T WorldNet Service users will have direct access to more than
80,000 help wanted ads, personal job search agents, resume creation, resume
posting, and company profiles.


The OCC also will provide WorldPages with a private label version of its career center. And WorldPages, an Internet white and yellow pages directory, will provide the OCC with a private label version of its directory. WorldPages will also feature the OCC as an employment sponsor of its Internet guide, the firms said.


“The alliance with AT&T represents a very important step for us. Our goal is to be visible to the largest possible audience and on quality sites. The AT&T WorldNet Service offers us both those things,” said Bill Warren,
president of OCC.


OCC is a product of the Interactive Division of TMP Worldwide, a large
recruitment advertising agency network and a yellow page advertising agency
with more than 3,350 employees in 12 countries.
