CareerPath.com, the newspaper consortium
that runs a career and job management network on the Internet, signed 11 new
newspaper affiliates.
Employment classifieds from the Albany Times Union, Asheville
Citizen Times, The Dallas Morning News, El Paso
Times, Marin Independent Journal, Lansing State
Journal, Pensacola News Journal, Press & Sun
Bulletin, Rockford Register
Star, the St. Petersburg Times, and The Wichita
Eagle can now be accessed on CareerPath.com.
More than 60 newspapers already are on the site, including The Boston
Globe,
Chicago Tribune, Los Angeles Times, The New York
Times, San Jose Mercury News, and The Washington Post.
The classified ad database is augmented by Resume Connection, which allows job
seekers to post resumes online so prospective employers can search for them.
Other features include: CareerPathEXTRA, which allows employers’ job listings
from their corporate Web sites to be accessed from CareerPath.com; Employer
Profiles, which provides a full-page description of an employer’s business, a
link to their corporate home pages, and a dynamic link to all the employer’s
job listings in the jobs database; and content drawn from a variety of sources
to help job seekers, employers, and human resources professionals.
CareerPath.com said it has more than 250,000 classifieds.
