Conference to Discuss Impact of Tech on the Power Structure

On July 27, the Silicon Alley Reporter will present a conference entitled the “Rising Tide Summit,” focused on technology’s impact on society’s power structures.


A long list of CEOs and other bigs in the interactive industry, including a
many ad execs, signed on as participants.


The Rising Tide Summit is an open discussion between the attendees and
speakers. Everyone is a participant. The day-long (8 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.)
multi-disciplinary event will include speakers, multimedia presentations,
refreshments, and extended networking opportunities. The conference will be
followed by a party in the Great Hall of the New York Historical Society.


Registration is available at the event Web site. Cost is $500 per seat.
