New York City-based CONE Interactive has been appointed the
agency of record for two new clients: Day-Timers and togglethis.
CONE said it is implementing a strategic branding and public relations program
for Day-Timers consisting of the development of key positioning, an industry
analyst program and a launch that will target trade, business and consumer
media audiences. In addition, CONE is planning and buying online media for the
company.
For togglethis, CONE is working to refine key positioning messages
for the benefits of toggled shows, which provide entertainment companies a new
platform for their content while offering advertisers an engaging format to
reach their target audiences. Billings were not disclosed for either account.
“As the new media industry matures, companies need to be more strategic and
proactive about who they are, their competition and the most important things
they have to say about themselves,” said Susan Pechman, general manager of
CONE Interactive. “As a result, companies have a greater need for agencies
like CONE that combine strategic positioning with public relations and online
marketing and have staff with industry
experience and marketing savvy to do great work.”
Day-Timers provides time
management and organizational solutions and offers more than 100 paper,
software and Internet products for business, school and home use.
togglethis allows consumers to subscribe
to serialized toggled
shows. They are e-mailed an episode every week, which they can view
immediately on their desktop.
