ElectricVillage Signs 31 Radio Stations

Santa Cruz, CA said that Triathlon Broadcasting Co. has committed all 31 of
its radio stations to participation in Radio-VillageNet.


Radio-VillageNet is a joint initiative by ElectricVillage and the Katz Radio Group designed
to bring Internet ad revenue to individual radio stations.


It offers groups, networks, and individual stations turnkey solutions for
developing and maintaining Web sites in order to attract national Web
advertising and e-commerce revenue. Financial details were not disclosed.


Carl Koppel, president of ElectricVillage, said that “in the last 60 days
more than 100 individual stations have joined the program.”


Triathlon Broadcasting owns and operates radio stations in medium and small-
sized markets in the Midwest and Western United States.
