initial partners/sponsors for Fox News Onlinebs just-
announced free real-time stock quote service.
News America Digital Publishing, operator of Fox News Online, has entered into
partnerships with E*TRADE Group Inc. as exclusive online brokerage sponsor and
Thomson Investors Network as the provider of real-time quotes and market data.
E*TRADE will be the category exclusive advertiser for the real-time quotes. As
part of the agreement, News America Digital Publishing also will carry
advertising
from E*TRADE across its Internet properties Fox Sports Online, TV Guide
Entertainment Network, and News Corp.’s international Internet offerings.
Through quotes and market data provided by Thomson Investors Network, users
may access up to 50 real-time quotes per day for securities traded on NYSE,
Amex and Nasdaq exchanges.
A variety of Thomson Financial Services companies provide an integrated
summary of existing research on the selected security in its popular
Thomson TipSheet format. Intraday charts, 12-month charts, key
fundamentals, First Calls’ consensus earnings estimates, and the Investnet
Insider Trend Index are provided for every real-time quote accessed.
