SwitchBoard Signs Three New Advertisers

Westboro, MA-based Banyan Systems Inc. said that
its subsidiary, Switchboard Inc., has
signed long-term advertising agreements with 1-800-FLOWERS, Barnes & Noble,
and
American Greetings.


The Switchboard directory service is a white and yellow pages Internet
directory. Spending was not disclosed.


According to Media Metrix and The PC Meter Co., Switchboard.com is now the
11th most visited Web site. It claims more than 9 million look-ups for
people and businesses per week, and approximately 60 million page views per
month.
