FindWhat.com has named Anne Hrubala as director of agency relations. Hrubala came to FindWhat in May 2003 after holding senior posts with Interep, 24/7 Media, and Inceptor.
“Anne’s focus will be to serve as liaison to the advertising agency community to ensure working with FindWhat.com is conducive to the typical media buyer’s needs,” said Dan Ballister, vice president of sales at FindWhat.com.
Shopping.com has hired Greg Santora as chief financial officer. In his last post, Santora was CFO and senior VP with Intuit, prior to which he held senior roles with Apple. He serves as a director for LookSmart, Digital Insight and Align Technologies.
“His financial leadership and proven operational success within highly innovative companies make him the ideal addition to our team,” said Dan Ciporin, Shopping.com’s chairman and CEO.
LookSmart recently picked up three new distribution partners. SearchFeed, myGeek and ABCSearch will join the search company’s bid-for-placement network.
“In the first few weeks since launching our bid-for-placement product, we’ve seen strong interest from advertisers and distribution partners,” said LookSmart CEO Jason Kellerman.
LookSmart is working to build up its partner network and revenue streams, to prepare for the loss of MSN in January. The portal, LookSmart’s biggest client, declined to renew its agreement with the company.
