Behavioral targeting firm Revenue Science hired Nick Johnson as senior VP of business development to lead the company’s new New York City office, to be located in midtown Manhattan.

Johnson was national sales director at Lycos, responsible for growing branded advertising revenue and building a sales team. He also spent six years with Turner Interactive, working in both sales and business development roles for CNN, CNNMoney and CNNSI.

“Nick Johnson’s deep expertise in advertising and media — both online and traditional — will be invaluable in building the premier behavioral targeting ecosystem for Web advertising,” said CEO Bill Gossman.

Rich media firm Oddcast recently launched online marketing programs for Vonage and Holiday Inn. The Vonage program was created in conjunction with Carat Interactive, the Holiday Inn program in partnership with Digitas.

The Holiday Inn program is on the corporate Web site. Visitors can send talking “Egg-A-Grams.” The goal is to promote a new hot breakfast offering at the hotels. The Vonage program was a banner campaign.
