R/GA CEO and President Martin Reidy left to join Digitas West as president, in San Francisco. R/GA’s Chairman and Chief Creative Officer Bob Greenberg will act as CEO, a position he held before Reidy’s hire.

Reidy joined R/GA as president in 1996, and was named CEO three years later. He took the Digitas job in order to spend more time with his family on the West coast.

“His contributions have been a valuable asset to the company, including successfully leading R/GA through the recent difficulties faced by our industry,” Greeberg said.

Carat Interactive promoted Cory Treffiletti from media director to VP of media and client services. Treffiletti now oversees media and account management for all San Francisco business.

His agency background includes stints at Freestyle Interactive and i-traffic.

Direct marketing and database management firm Traffix added Mark Gutterman to its board. The CFO of Starpoint Solutions replaces Jack Silver, who resigned to devote time to other business and personal interests.

Gutterman served on the company’s board from 1995 until his resignation in November, 1999. Before Starpoint, he was a co-managing partner at accounting firm Feldman, Gutterman, Meinberg.
