The American Homeowners Association (AHA) has tapped comparison shopping search site Shopping.com to deploy its database for a members-only offering it calls Froople.com. The AHA is using its own affiliate relationships with retailers, plus the Shopping.com technology, to offer its members a unique benefit.

AHA members can use the comparison features of Froople.com and get up to $500 of shipping charges a year refunded through the program, which requires them to send in rebate forms. In a bid to recruit new members, the AHA is offering a free 30 day trial membership to Froople.com, after which a $99 annual membership fee kicks in.







Interactive marketer Kurani Multimedia has named Joseph Falcone as vice president of client relations. Falcone has approximately 12 years of business management and operations experience.





RightNow Technologies has joined the Network Advertising Initiative’s (NAI) Email Service Provider Coalition to support the delivery of legitimate e-mail.

“RightNow is committed to allocating resources to ensure our customers’ permission-based emails to deliver proactive customer service and high value product offers are not confused with spam by the ISPs,” said Alan Rassaby, the company’s VP of legal and risk management.






RE/MAX Properties of Colorado Springs, Colorado has tapped Denver-based SharperAgent to provide e-marketing services for its four offices and to customize the brokerage’s Web site to include marketing materials for its 230 agents.

“Our ownership is providing SharperAgent free of charge to all of our agents to encourage more continuity and consistency in our marketing,” said Angela Byrne, RE/MAX Properties director of marketing and online services.
