T3 (The Think Tank), an Austin-based integrated marketing firm, has hired Annie Jarvis as interactive designer. Jarvis previously worked at Coremetrics, where she analyzed usability data and presented findings to executives, software developers, and account managers. Prior to that, she worked as an independent consultant to WhisperWire, CreditMinders, WinWin Technologies and iMark.com, aiding these companies’ Web development efforts.

“As T3 prepares to better address our growing clients’ needs, we understand that integration is going to be critical in driving results,” said T3 founder and president Gay Gaddis. “We are combining our traditional advertising abilities with our interactive online capabilities and hiring talented people, like Annie, who understand how to make this convergence successful.”

Online bank smile has launched an interactive campaign, with placements on The Guardian, Femail, Times educational, New Scientist and Wellbeing. The “happy wallet & happy heart” campaign uses various executions and media placements that feature rate information as well as intangibles “that talk to peoples’ hearts,” according to Paul Cairney, head of marketing for smile.

Additionally, Dynamic Logic has been brought in to track the effect this has on brand perception and purchase propensity.

U.K. Internet service provider Freeserve has entered into a deal with Dating Direct which will see a minimum six month campaign roll out across sectors of icircle, the ISP’s dedicated women’s channel.

The campaign is aimed at increasing the number of registrations for Dating Direct and will appear on the Sex & Love, Health, Beauty and Horoscopes zones. icircle will also offer sponsorship placements that integrate Dating Direct into the site’s editorial content. The creatives will be developed in-house at Dating Direct.
