Execs and Accounts for July 25, 2003

Online marketer Performics has joined the Network Advertising Initiative’s (NAI) E-mail Service Provider Coalition, formed in January 2003 to protect the appropriate use of e-mail as a marketing and business communication tool.

“Performics’ expertise and client perspective will provide our members with invaluable insights. I am impressed with their grasp of the important issues facing our industry, and they are very willing to do what it takes to move the industry forward,” said Trevor Hughes, executive director of the NAI.

Digital marketer Clear Ink has launched a redesigned Web site for Good Technology, an enterprise-level wireless data and communications firm. The site launch, which coincides with Good’s launch of its 2.0 software version, attempts to better convey Good’s offering while maintaining the brand’s pre-existing identity, Clear Ink said.

HandHeld Entertainment has named Ted Richards as executive creative director and Victor Brandstetter as VP of sales.

Richards’ portfolio includes work for Ford, BMW, Dell, Apple, Microsoft, Sony Pictures, Virgin Records and Disney. Brandstetter has developed sales channels for companies like Logitech, UMAX and Best Data.

Richards and Brandstetter join HandHeld Entertainment in the wake of its announcement of the ZVUE! personal video player, which will be in retail stores nationwide this October.

“Ted Richards and Victor Brandstetter bring a combination of experience that will help take the ZVUE! and its content to consumers around the globe,” said Nathan Schulhof, CEO of HandHeld Entertainment.
