San Francisco-based ad network Flycast Communications said it has
delivered one billion
rich media impressions over the 850+ site Flycast Network and has
partnered
with rich media technology providers Comet Systems Inc. and IQ.COM.

Currently, 20 percent of ads delivered over the Flycast Network contain rich
media
in formats such as HTML, Java, Shockwave, or technology from Flycast
partners
AudioBase, MessageMedia and Thinking Media, the company said.

With the new partnerships, the Flycast Network can now deliver ads to
hundreds of sites using the dynamic custom cursors of Comet Systems.
Advertisers can also design sales promotions and loyalty programs that
start
in the ad banner with tools from IQ.COM, which integrates with Flycast’s
ResponsePoint. ResponsePoint is a suite of services that
enable Web advertisers to maximize response by converting static
advertising
messages into interactive ads.

Financial arrangements with the new partners were not disclosed. “We are
committed to providing ROI-effective solutions that harness rich media’s
proven ability to increase response,” said Larry Braitman, vice president
of
corporate development and new ventures for Flycast.

IQ.COM acts as an outsourcing partner for e-merchants. Clients use an
account
at IQ.COM to create, target, and track a variety of one-to-one sales
promotions and loyalty programs, including instant savings, traffic
builders,
mini storefronts, lead generation, sweepstakes, and conversion mailings
and
acquisition mailings. Pricing is
based on the cost per click model.
