Irvine, CA-based Freerealtime.com. Inc., a branded
content provider of online, real-time stock quotes and online financial
services, signed a contract with the Andover, MA-based Adsmart Network.

Adsmart, a majority-owned subsidiary of CMGI Inc., currently represents 175 Web brands
with 1.2 billion impressions per month. Freerealtime.com will be represented
by Adsmart to applicable advertisers within their online network and to other
organizations compatible with Freerealtime’s marketing goals.

The one-year contract has an unspecified minimum revenue guarantee that should
result in a substantial increase in Freerealtime’s advertising revenue when
compared to fiscal 1998, the company said. The contract can be extended in
12-month increments.

“The Freerealtime site gives us the vehicle to provide our advertisers
placement on a premier site that, monthly, provides millions of pages of
financial information to independent and institutional investors from around
the world,” said Adsmart Chairman and CEO John Federman. “Our targeting model
will select the advertisers suitable to Freerealtime’s unique customer-base,
allowing them to not only greatly increase their advertising revenue but to
bring new qualified traffic to their site.”
