Go2Net Inc., a network of technology and community Web sites, signed a
network-wide advertising agreement with HomeSmart.com, a provider of online real
estate services.
The deal makes HomeSmart.com the exclusive real estate content provider on
the Go2Net Network’s Real Estate Search Channel.
Spending details were not
disclosed.
HomeSmart.com also will be the exclusive provider of real estate services in
the market place sections of the Go2Net Network’s home page and on MetaCrawler, Go2Net’s multiple engine
search service.
HomeSmart.com facilitates residential real estate transactions through a
variety of
technology-based products and strategic partnerships for consumers and real
estate agents.
Go2Net properties also include Silicon Investor; Dogpile, a metasearch service and provider
of proprietary search technologies; 100hot, directory of popular sites;
HyperMart and Virtual Avenue, providers of free
business hosting services; Authorize.Net, a payment authorization
service;
Haggle Online, a person-to-person auction
service; WebMarket, a comparison shopping service;
and PlaySite, a Java-based multi-player
games site.
