ABC News Internet Ventures and InfoSpace said that the directory
service’s classifieds are now available on ABC Local Net, a network of ABC
affiliates on the Internet.
Using InfoSpace’s services, users of ABC Local Net in the ABC television
affiliate markets will be able to find classifieds for autos, jobs and real
estate. Financial arrangements were not disclosed.
A day earlier, CBS New Media, the CBS Corp. division that is launching CBS
Network on the Web, announced a strategic partnership establishing InfoSpace
as the official directory service of CBS.com. Again, financial details were not
disclosed.
